January 29, 2020
Caring for a loved one with dementia can be a stressful, lonely job. Oftentimes, we hear caregivers say they’re looking for support from people who’ve been in their shoes. Our Dementia Caregiver Support Group offers just that.
Come, join us!
• Exchange practical information on care giving solutions
• Talk through challenges and ways of coping
• Share feelings, needs and concerns
Group Facilitator: Josie Winland, Executive Director Josie taps into personal and professional experience to lead the group. She was a caregiver for a family member with dementia and served three years as our Director of Memory Care. Josie helped launch Heartfelt CONNECTIONS – A Memory Care Program® at Monticello West, designed to promote physical and emotional well-being, support daily functioning and maintain a sense of satisfaction, dignity and quality of life.
Next Meeting: January 29th at 10:30 am.
